Nunnelly was awarded as the best value general contractor to build the San Antonio Fire Station #18 project. This project was a new, ground-up 14,780 sq.ft. facility, including three apparatus bays, one EMS bay, EMS and fire personnel dormitories, large commercial-style kitchen, special Fire Department USDD alerting systems, and an exercise room.
The structure was made up of structural steel, metal building components, CMU, and light gage metal trusses, along with a mixed EIFS and masonry exterior. The project also included a metal standing seam roof system, site improvements including landscaping, irrigation, and heavy-duty paving.
